Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local regulations (TxDOT, City of Austin)
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating green infrastructure principles
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and construction drawings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling and stormwater management systems
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $10M in value
- Strong knowledge of ADA, IBC, and TCEQ regulations
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and client communication skills
