Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end civil engineering projects, leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure on time and within budget.
- Design Oversight: Review and approve technical designs, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and environmental standards.
- Budget Management: Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage project financials, identifying risks and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, presenting technical proposals and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Technical Innovation: Implement sustainable construction practices and modern engineering methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng) from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, preferably in the UK construction sector.
- Chartered Status: Fully Chartered status (MICE or CEng) is highly desirable.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and MS Project.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
