Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for transportation, water resource, and structural projects
- Develop comprehensive engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA, USACE) for compliance
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical analysis
- Prepare technical specifications and contract documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS)
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Excellent project management and client communication skills
- LEED AP certification preferred
