Responsibilities
- Design and oversee structural systems for commercial buildings, highways, and water treatment facilities
- Lead project teams through all phases from feasibility to construction completion
- Perform advanced structural analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Ensure compliance with local building codes (IBC, TCEQ) and federal regulations
- Manage client relationships and project budgets exceeding $5M
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and professional development
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in structural and transportation design
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA guidelines
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
