Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with contractors, government agencies, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TCEQ, FHWA)
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges
- Conduct site inspections and oversee construction quality control processes
- Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement in project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in transportation engineering and hydraulic modeling
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $10M
- Strong proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and data-driven design
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Exceptional problem-solving and client communication skills
