Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct site investigations, prepare detailed engineering reports, and oversee construction phases
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders (clients, contractors, regulatory bodies)
- Develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges while maintaining sustainability standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with transportation and water resource projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT, FEMA, and EPA regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
