Responsibilities
- Oversee design and execution of municipal infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians during all project phases
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and local building codes
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Prepare detailed construction documents, cost estimates, and schedules
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS software
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure master planning
- Strong understanding of stormwater management and sustainable design principles
- Excellent project management and client presentation skills
- LEED AP certification preferred
