Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and stormwater systems
- Perform site assessments, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including TxDOT standards
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality reviews of deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing transportation/water resources projects
- Strong knowledge of Texas environmental regulations and permitting processes
- Excellent project management and client communication skills
- LEED AP certification a plus
