Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering regulations and standards
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating green infrastructure principles
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with complex transportation or water resource projects
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- LEED AP or similar sustainability certification highly desirable
