Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental specialists, contractors) to ensure seamless project delivery
- Conduct site investigations, soil testing, and feasibility studies for new developments
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, ADA)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS) and geotechnical analysis
- Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget
- Strong proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and sustainable design practices
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- OSHA 30-hour certification and experience with construction safety protocols
