Responsibilities
- Lead design and oversight of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
- Develop comprehensive construction plans and specifications compliant with TxDOT and federal regulations
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical assessments to inform design decisions
- Manage project budgets and schedules while maintaining strict quality control standards
- Mentor junior engineers through our structured Knowledge Transfer Program
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- Proven expertise in transportation engineering and hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM)
- Advanced proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and digital engineering workflows
- Strong knowledge of Texas local and state regulations (TCEQ, TxDOT)
- Experience leading projects with budgets exceeding $10M
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials preferred
