Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Develop cost-effective solutions while maintaining sustainability standards and LEED certification goals
- Manage client relationships and project budgets from conception through completion
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and professional development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Expertise in structural design, geotechnical analysis, and hydraulic modeling
- Proven track record managing projects over $5M in value
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and construction documentation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
