Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects (bridges, highways, water systems)
- Manage project lifecycle from conception to completion within budget and timeline
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental specialists, contractors)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.)
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analysis
- Develop detailed construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative team culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure project delivery
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS technologies
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- Proven track record in managing $10M+ projects
- LEED AP certification or sustainable design expertise preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
