Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects including highways, bridges, and municipal infrastructure
- Perform complex structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews
- Develop sustainable design solutions for LEED-certified projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS) and geotechnical analysis
- Track record of managing projects exceeding $10M in value
- Expertise in transportation engineering and pavement design
- Strong knowledge of construction management and contract administration
- Excellent communication skills for client presentations and public hearings
- Experience with BIM/CIM implementation and 3D modeling
