Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring compliance with CA building codes and environmental regulations
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Develop detailed construction documentation and oversee quality assurance during implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design with 3+ years in lead roles
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in transportation engineering, hydraulic systems, and structural design
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and GIS applications
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ projects with successful delivery
- Strong knowledge of LEED and sustainable infrastructure practices
