Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, waterfront developments, and sustainable urban drainage systems
- Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with Singapore's Building Construction Authority (BCA) regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Develop innovative solutions for geotechnical challenges in Singapore's complex soil conditions
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using BIM technology
- Conduct structural analysis for high-rise buildings and critical infrastructure components
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale civil engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent international qualification
- Expertise in Singaporean building codes (BCA), land transport authority (LTA) standards, and PUB regulations
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD Pro, ETABS) and BIM tools (Revit, Civil 3D)
- Proven track record of managing projects over SGD 50M in value
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and soil mechanics
- Excellent project management skills with PMP certification preferred
