Responsibilities
- Design and oversee infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and water systems
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new developments
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and contractors
- Develop detailed construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM tools
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental protocols
- Present technical proposals to municipal planning committees and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with TxDOT and FEMA compliance requirements
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification a plus
- Excellent communication abilities for client and stakeholder interactions
- Experience mentoring junior engineering staff
