Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water resource systems
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and compliance reviews for large-scale developments
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers
- Implement BIM/CIM modeling for project visualization and lifecycle management
- Oversee construction phase activities including quality control and contract administration
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable drainage and erosion control systems
- Manage project budgets exceeding $50M with zero-safety-incident track record
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license required (Texas or NCEES recipro)
- 8+ years progressive experience in municipal infrastructure or heavy civil construction
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven expertise in FEMA floodplain management and LEED certification processes
- Strong background in geotechnical analysis and foundation design for challenging soils
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with public agencies and private developers
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid credentials preferred
- MS in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering highly desirable
