Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure strict adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed project plans, cost estimates, and technical specifications for client review.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, surveyors, and contractors.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with local and federal building codes (e.g., Ontario Building Code).
- Manage project timelines and resources to deliver high-quality results on schedule.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Sc. Eng).
- Provincial Engineering License (P.Eng) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in municipal or commercial construction.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of hydrology, geotechnical engineering, and structural mechanics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
