Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including transportation networks, water systems, and urban development
- Perform advanced structural analysis using BIM/CAD tools (Revit, Civil 3D) and FEA software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with ASCE standards, TCEQ regulations, and local municipal codes
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and feasibility studies
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating green infrastructure and climate resilience
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative stakeholder relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering with emphasis on infrastructure
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain immediately
- Expertise in structural design, hydraulic modeling, and construction management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit Structure, and geotechnical software
- Proven track record of managing $5M+ infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of LEED and sustainable engineering practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and regulatory compliance
