Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including transportation, water systems, and structural developments
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and feasibility studies using advanced geotechnical software
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code, OSHA regulations, and sustainable design standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to maintain quality excellence
- Develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges using BIM/CAD technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project delivery
- PE license in New York State (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record managing projects with $5M+ budgets and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated knowledge of NYC DOT, DEP, and MTA construction standards
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineering professionals
