Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Conduct site investigations, soil testing, and feasibility studies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TCEQ, FEMA)
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
- Develop detailed construction documentation and quality control plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design
- Expertise in infrastructure project delivery and construction management
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling and stormwater management systems
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles
- Proven track record of managing complex municipal projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- LEED AP certification preferred
