Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies for complex civil engineering projects
- Develop detailed construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM technologies
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with architects, environmental specialists, and government agencies
- Implement sustainable design practices and innovative construction methodologies to enhance project efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of delivering complex transportation or water resource projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards, FEMA floodplain regulations, and LEED certification requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to optimize designs for cost, sustainability, and resilience
