Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in designing complex civil infrastructure systems (transportation, water, structural)
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (ETABS, SAP2000)
- Oversee construction phase services including site supervision and quality control
- Develop comprehensive technical reports and contract documents ensuring regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders (clients, contractors, regulatory bodies)
- Drive innovation in sustainable engineering practices and BIM implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and structural analysis software
- Proven track record managing projects >$50M in transportation or water resources
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Strong understanding of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
