Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil design
- PE licensure in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in transportation infrastructure and structural design
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and geospatial technologies
- Proven track record of managing $5M+ projects
- Strong knowledge of FEMA floodplain regulations and TxDOT standards
- Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
