Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including MRT expansions, coastal protection systems, and smart city initiatives
- Perform structural analysis using advanced software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and ensure compliance with Singapore Building Code and BC2 requirements
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation while maintaining strict quality control standards
- Collaborate with government agencies (LTA, PUB) and contractors to navigate regulatory approvals and construction phases
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to uphold design excellence and safety protocols
- Develop sustainable solutions integrating green infrastructure and climate adaptation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution; Master's or PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects with 3+ years in Singapore
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent Singapore registration (PE Board)
- Expertise in geotechnical analysis, structural design, and construction management methodologies
- Proficiency in BIM tools (Revit, Civil 3D) and digital project management platforms
- Demonstrated success in managing projects with budgets exceeding SGD 50M
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's regulatory framework and sustainability standards
