Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex transportation, water resources, and structural projects
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage project budgets/schedules
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards
- Develop detailed engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Conduct site investigations and analyze geotechnical data
- Coordinate with government agencies and private stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and promote sustainable design practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure
- Expertise in transportation or water resources engineering
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and construction management software
- Strong understanding of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Proven track record of managing projects >$50M
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
