Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil engineering projects including highways, bridges, and municipal infrastructure
- Perform structural analysis using advanced software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Manage project lifecycle from conceptualization through construction oversight
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal regulations
- Develop cost estimates and construction documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews
- Coordinate with environmental specialists and survey teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Active PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and 3D modeling
- Proven track record with large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical analysis and foundation design
- Experience with stormwater management and erosion control systems
- Excellent project management and client communication skills
