Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle from conceptualization to final delivery
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TCEQ, FTA, etc.)
- Develop cost-effective solutions using BIM/CIM technologies and sustainable design principles
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications for major municipal projects
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design deliverables
- Analyze geotechnical data and structural requirements for varying soil conditions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure design and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated expertise in TxDOT and FEMA compliance protocols
- Strong background in sustainable infrastructure and LEED certification
- Proven track record of managing $50M+ transportation or water projects
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to resolve complex engineering challenges
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
