Responsibilities
- Design and oversee large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle from concept to completion
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TCEQ, DOT)
- Develop cost-effective solutions using BIM and civil engineering software
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Manage client relationships and project budgets exceeding $10M
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence within the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in heavy civil infrastructure
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing complex transportation or water resources projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA standards
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading projects in Gulf Coast climate conditions
