Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state/federal regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental specialists, contractors)
- Conduct site inspections, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee quality control processes
- Develop client presentations and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit Structure, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record managing projects over $50M
- Familiarity with TxDOT and Harris County permitting processes
- Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Experience with sustainable design and LEED certification
