Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and regulatory compliance reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
- Develop cost estimates, project schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality control protocols
- Present technical reports to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
- Utilize BIM/CAD tools for precision modeling and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Demonstrated success in managing complex infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and federal regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification
