Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of transportation infrastructure (highways, bridges, transit systems)
- Lead structural analysis and design for commercial/residential developments
- Manage stormwater management and water resource systems
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on complex urban renewal projects
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and municipal regulations
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and permit documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven project management experience with $5M+ budgets
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical and construction materials
- Experience with sustainable design practices (LEED certification a plus)
