Responsibilities
- Design and oversee large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases from conception to completion
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering standards (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.)
- Utilize advanced BIM software (Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil) for precision modeling and analysis
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using MS Project
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and structural assessments
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to resolve technical challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with infrastructure projects
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $10M in value
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
