Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of transportation systems, water resources, and structural frameworks
- Oversee project execution from conceptualization to completion ensuring compliance with ASCE and NYC Building Codes
- Manage BIM/CAD workflows using Civil 3D and AutoCAD for precision modeling
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and feasibility studies
- Coordinate with municipal agencies (NYC DOT, DEP) for permit approvals
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop cost estimates and project schedules using Primavera P6
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery
- PE license in New York State (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in hydrology modeling (HEC-HMS, SWMM) and structural analysis (STAAD.Pro)
- Proven track record with LEED-certified sustainable infrastructure projects
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS) and drone surveying
- Demonstrated success leading teams through complex regulatory environments
