Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil engineering projects including highway systems, water treatment facilities, and commercial structures
- Perform structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state regulations (TCEOT standards)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews for deliverables
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental consultants, contractors)
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable infrastructure challenges
- Prepare technical documentation, permits, and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management
- PE licensure in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing projects >$10M in value
- Deep knowledge of TCEOT, FEMA, and local municipal codes
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineering teams
- Certification in sustainable design (LEED/Envision) highly desirable
