Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and municipal systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Oversee construction phases with rigorous quality control and safety compliance
- Develop cost-effective solutions while meeting regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA)
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
- Prepare technical documentation and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure design
- Expertise in structural analysis and geotechnical evaluation
- Proficiency with BIM/CIM modeling technologies
- Strong knowledge of Illinois DOT standards and municipal codes
- Proven project management experience with budgets >$5M
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- LEED/APM certification preferred
