Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects (transportation, water, or structural)
- Perform complex hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software
- Coordinate with city planning departments and regulatory bodies for permitting
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for 5+ concurrent projects
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable infrastructure challenges
- Prepare detailed technical reports, construction documents, and bid packages
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ infrastructure projects
- Deep understanding of TCEQ, FEMA, and DOT regulations
- Strong leadership skills with experience directing cross-functional teams
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
