Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including MRT expansions, waterfront developments, and smart city initiatives
- Perform advanced structural analysis using BIM software and ensure compliance with Singapore Building Authority regulations
- Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers and contractors to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for complex geotechnical challenges in Singapore's unique soil conditions
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating green infrastructure and climate-resilient features
- Represent the firm in client negotiations and regulatory approvals with government agencies
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge management through technical workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design with 3+ years in Singapore
- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent international certification
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro)
- Proven track record of managing projects valued over SGD 50 million
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore's Building Control Act and BC 2/2016 regulations
- Strong leadership skills with experience directing cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
