Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Manage project lifecycle from conception through construction oversight and commissioning
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA, local municipalities) for compliance approvals
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality reviews of technical deliverables
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable construction and resilient infrastructure
- Prepare detailed construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience managing projects exceeding $5M in value
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- Excellent leadership skills with proven team management experience
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
