Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (architects, contractors, environmental specialists)
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and ADA regulations
- Develop cost-effective solutions for complex geotechnical challenges
- Prepare detailed project documentation and permit applications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS) and geotechnical software
- Proven track record of managing projects >$50M
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and public presentations
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ and local permitting processes
