Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Lead the design and analysis of complex civil engineering projects, including site development, stormwater management, utilities, and transportation infrastructure.</li><li>Manage projects from initial conceptualization through final construction documentation, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.</li><li>Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.</li><li>Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff, fostering their professional growth.</li><li>Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.</li><li>Conduct site visits, perform due diligence, and provide construction support services as needed.</li><li>Actively participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months).</li><li>Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management, preferably with a focus on land development, municipal, or transportation projects.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, or similar design software.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in project leadership, client interaction, and team coordination.</li><li>Strong understanding of local, state, and federal codes and regulations (e.g., City of Houston, TCEQ, TxDOT).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.</li></ul>
