Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and analysis of structural systems, including foundations, retaining walls, and superstructures.
- Conduct site visits and geotechnical evaluations to ensure project feasibility and compliance with environmental standards.
- Manage project lifecycles, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and municipal authorities to navigate regulatory approvals and zoning laws.
- Prepare and review detailed construction documents, including blueprints, calculations, and specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the construction phase.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in civil and structural design.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes (IBC/UCBC) and international standards (ACI, AISC).
- Experience with LEED certification and sustainable building practices.
