Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Perform complex structural analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Oversee construction site operations ensuring compliance with safety protocols and local regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental scientists, contractors)
- Develop detailed cost estimates and project schedules using Primavera P6
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical assessments
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure design and construction
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, SWMM)
- Expertise in sustainable infrastructure design (LEED certification preferred)
- Proven track record managing projects over $50M
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and municipal permitting processes
- Experience with federal grant applications (FHWA, FEMA)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
