Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform complex structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (architects, environmental specialists, contractors)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Present technical solutions to municipal boards and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expertise in transportation, structural, or water resources engineering
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with zero safety incidents
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- PMP certification preferred
