Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in designing complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Oversee construction phase activities ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Develop cost-effective solutions while maintaining strict adherence to federal and state engineering codes
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent projects
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies for new development initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Advanced proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and geospatial technologies
- Demonstrated expertise in transportation or water resources engineering
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification highly desirable
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with budgets exceeding $20M
- Excellent communication skills with experience interfacing with municipal agencies and stakeholders
