Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical oversight of urban infrastructure and land development projects.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies to secure permitting and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater management systems.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality completion.
- Provide technical mentorship and quality assurance reviews for junior staff engineers.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate construction progress and ensure adherence to engineering blueprints.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and engineering specifications for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Strong understanding of local zoning laws, site design standards, and environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
