Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including transportation, water resources, and structural systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, contractors, and environmental specialists
- Develop innovative sustainable design solutions incorporating green infrastructure and resilience planning
- Conduct site inspections, quality control assessments, and technical documentation reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with 3+ years in project leadership
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in structural design, hydraulic modeling, and infrastructure planning
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and advanced engineering analysis software
- Strong project management skills with proven success in delivering complex projects
- Excellent communication abilities with stakeholders ranging from municipal agencies to private developers
