Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil engineering projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and geotechnical analysis
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Oversee construction administration and resolve technical challenges in the field
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project delivery
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing transportation or water resources projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Excellent leadership and client communication skills
