Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process, from concept generation through to mass production.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo) to create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Conduct thorough stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate component durability and performance under load.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing staff.
- Manage project timelines and ensure strict compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product designs and reduce manufacturing costs.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software, specifically SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and engineering standards.
- Experience with manufacturing processes including CNC machining, injection molding, and additive manufacturing.
